Shimano Disc Brake Pad Table

Find your brake caliper model in the left column and your brake pad options are listed by type in the other columns.

Resin pads are a gentler and quieter pad than metal pads. Metal pads offer more power but are more aggressive in their feel and they can only be used with suitable rotors that are designed for metal pad use. They wear the rotor more quickly than resin pads do.

Ice-Tech pads have external aluminium cooling fins to reduce brake fade due to high temperatures.
