Automatic email confirmation of orders received.

When an order is successfully placed online, the payment gateway automatically generates an email order confirmation for you.

Order Turnaround

!
Orders will generally be dispatched within 2 working days. We'll email you within this time if your order will be delayed. Exceptions can be for goods that have temporarily run out of stock and for "Special Order Items" (see following). For Direct Deposit transactions, please allow a couple of extra days as we won't ship until the deposit appears in our bank account, and this typically won't be on the same day as the actual transfer of funds.

Special Order Items

Goods we've included in our website but that we don't normally keep in stock are marked "Special order item" throughout our shopping pages. These will take an extra week or so dispatch. We will run regular price and availability checks on these items to be sure they're still relevant, but inevitably on occasion they will be no longer available when ordered. We'll let you know ASAP if this happens.

Overseas Freight

Freight charges have only been calculated up to a parcel weight of 20kg. Anything over this will automatically be charged $1,000,000 freight. That might prompt you to contact us to work out the actual freight charge!

Right of Refusal to Accept Credit Card Payment

Although you may choose to pay by credit card, and this will usually be the easiest way to place internet orders with us, we reserve the right to refuse credit card payment. In these cases we will contact you to let you know we require payment by cheque made out to Moruya Bicycles and in Australian Dollars before processing your order.

Prices and Competition

No business can offer the lowest price on everything all the time. We'd like to offer, overall, value and pricing as good as are available anywhere. Do we have something you'd like to buy but is it subsantially cheaper elsewhere? Please let us know, we'd appreciate the information, and we'd like the opportunity to negotiate before losing a sale. We will usually match a lower price. This applies to goods we don't have in stock also.

Taxes

All prices shown include 10% GST. International customers will not have to pay this tax. This tax will not be applied at the checkout when you select "Rest of the World" as your Tax Region in the Checkout. However, any import duties or taxes payable by you remain your responsibility.

Problems

!
You're not happy with what you got? Let us know as soon as possible and we'll offer a refund for the purchase price of any goods you'd like to return to us in original condition. If we are in any way at fault, we'll refund the freight charge too.

Clothing Return & Exchange Policy

We know it's hard to buy clothes on line, but we also know it's sometimes difficult to find the type and quality of clothes you'd like locally. So here are our simple policies regarding returns of ill-fitting clothes and shoes.
  • If you buy a garment or shoes that you find don't fit, return them to us and we'll exchange them for another size that you request. The return postage to us will be at your expense, but the postage of the second item from us to you will be free.
  • If you then want to exchange again for another size, we'll charge the standard freight rate that you will have paid on the first delivery of the garment. So, one exchange freight free, but further exchanges will attract a freight charge.
  • If you need to return a garment that doesn't fit and your required size is not available, or if you find the cut of the garment will not suit you in any size, return it to us and we'll refund the purchase price of the garment (but not the original freight charge).

Lay By

We happily lay by goods for up to three months. We offer extended Christmas lay by terms from July right through to Christmas. We require a 10% deposit and ask that you make payments throughout the lay by term, not just at the end! Goods will remain at Moruya Bicycles until they are paid for in full.

Privacy

We collect from you the information necessary to process your order, and to contact you as necessary to despatch your order.  We won't disclose personal information about our customers to any third party, nor will we use your email address to send you advertising material without your permission.

Security of Personal Details

Orders placed on line are held in a secure website that only we can access. We log in regularly, print waiting orders then delete them. If you prefer, you can print your order before placing it on line, then fax or mail it to us. You can pay in whatever manner suits you too. Don't feel obliged to use the modern whiz-bang electronic method.
