EBC Disc Pad Compound Selection Guide
Green: A medium durability and friction level for all round Cross Country and Trekking use.
Red: A High Friction organic compound for Downhill Racing only.
Gold: High durability sintered bronze metallic compound with strong brake effect. Ideal for arduous conditions such as wet riding or use in mud or sand. NOT to be used for Downhill Racing unless system is fitted originally with gold (sintered) brake pads to avoid brake overheating.
