Mountain Brake Levers

V-brake levers pull the cable at twice the rate of cantilever and sidepull brake levers. They must be used with V-Brakes and with most cable-operated disc brakes. If you are repairing a bike with the older style cantilever brakes (the cable pull up at the top rather than across) or sidepull brakes, you'd do best to use a sidepull/cantilever specific lever.

!

Brake lever pair to suit sidepull, cantilever and U- brakes. Not suitable for V-brakes.

Weight: 260g/pair.

Dual Pull Brake Lever Right Hand

84202
!
For those rare applications when you need to operate two brakes from one lever.
This lever pulls two barrel-end (MTB-type) cables from a single pivoting arm. This means it will pull each cable with the same force, self-correcting for variances in individual brake adjustment. If you wanted to adjust your setup so that the front brake worked with more force than the rear, for example, you couldn't do it via adjustments but would need to experiment with different brake pads. The lever has a lock-on button; useful for parking the bike. Weight: 135g.
