In the beginning, there were mountainbikes. Then there were hybrids (700c wheels). The hybrids evolved into leisurely riding bikes rather than performance bikes, with a highly adjustable and upright riding position, usually combined with a suspension seat post to save your rear and back. But some folks wanted all this comfort, and fat tyres for stability and dirt riding ability. That's where the comfort mountain bikes come in. Comfort with great versatility.
