Rim Tapes & Plugs

A humble part of the bicycle, but important. Mostly to stop the spoke nipples and spoke ends from damaging the tube, and on double wall rims, necessary to take the pressure of the tube rather than letting it explode through the spoke access holes. Rubber rim tapes are suitable for standard (single wall) rims. For double wall rims, we recommend the Zefal cloth tape, or the excellent Australian Made Veloplugs.
