Most quality bicycle saddles are designed specifically for women or for men. Womens saddles are, as a general rule, a bit wider at the back, have a shorter front, and flare out at a steeper angle in between. Women's sit bones are spaced more widely than men, so a woman can end up hanging over, rather than sitting on, a too-narrow saddle. Seats designed for an upright leisurely riding position are often non gender-specific so we've put all saddles on this one page.
